MAN IN TIGHTS ...
FINALLY... After missing for MOONS, I find my way back to this blog.
Thought I'd post photos of my recent travel but before I do that... just so I remember in years to come and to serve for good stories to my grand-children, I wanted to post this series of Air Force pics I found lying in my External Hard Disc.

Doesn't Whale look good in uniform?
Man... Ha.

McDonald's and my USD47cFive for Fighting was a GREAT performance. With loads of photos and stories to tell, I'd do so the very moment I have free time. For now, its me busy packing up as people are moving into the apartment.Well, with the need to rush the packing by the time set by 2040's management, I have pretty much given up cooking the last few days. For dinner, I went to McDonald's and ordered a great tasting Grilled Chicken Sandwhich and 10 pcs nuggets. What shocked me was upon looking at the receipt, I noticed a EAT-IN TAX ! Well, I certainly can accept the notion of food being more expensive in France if you decided to eat-in then take-out at fine restaurants, given the space constraints or even the service rendered... but for Macs to have to charge a EAT-IN TAX?Man..I even had to clear my own tray! ...well, although I always do so at e fastfood restaurants back in Spore, I'm just amazed by the EAT-IN TAX. After all, no other restaurant charges that tax beyond the obligatory Service-Charges.

My BESTESTEST Salad Ever ...Deciding to settle at a upscale but casual dining, we waded into Coast for what turns out to be my BEST salad to date.
Maine Lobster Tail Cobb
Avocado, Roasted Corn, Smoked Bacon, Tomato, Egg, Blue Cheese, Buttermilk Herb Dressing 23.
Although, without a hint of doubt, it being the most unhealthy and cholesterol packed salad I've
ever sunk my teeth into, it is, for me, as close as Salads can be to heaven as may be.Pictured here is a selection of butters that went with the bread that was just about OK. And yes, I'm going on my own quest to master the art of Lobster Tail Salad Making... Grins... Soon.

REPORT CARD
With the results due in 12 hours, heres what I expect for my courses. Of course, without doubt, I "hope for" straight As... but well
Course - Expected Grade - Attained Grade
American Politics - AB - B
Bioethics - A - A
Criminal Law - A - A
Fundamentals of Maths - Anything above a 'D' - AB
Child Abuse and Law - A - A
Lets keep our tails crossed ...
Really nervous abt Math...
Given the B attained form American Politics, I remain disappointed at the overall performance. It should have been an "A"

A Perfect Response
In Response to the Following Question, raised in my Bioethics Final Exam, worth 20% of the essay section, I provided a reply that I shall frame and showcase in my hall of academic honor:
Q3. What significant moral issues would come into play if the woman in question was not Mrs. M but one of her underage daughters? Explain your answer with at least two strong moral points aside from legal issues.
Kindly note that, as detailed in the submission, I have politely declined an affirmative response to Question 3 but do so not out of disregard or disrespect. I 'merely' see that an affirmative response will lead to 'perverse consequences' that I do not stand for...The application of any ethical principle which leads to a disastrous end cannot be, by itself, the basis for action.
At the expense of 10 points, I must politely decline the opportunity to raise “other significant moral issues” where the question focuses on a matter of individual age. While it will be of no difficulty to suggest principles, I find it difficult to adopt any knowing that such would lead to perverse solutions.
Essentially, by virtue of moral conviction, I declined the opportunity to answer the question.... Of course, while anyone could provide the response, it is the ability to receive an affirmation from your professor that the above response is in-itself adequate and proper for the question that makes my response MINDBLOWING.
I am still expecting an A1 / A2 for my Bioethics Class... but once again, I don't see how I can ever do badly in ethics. Ever.

A Brilliant Whale
While working thru the mid-night shift, I took the opportunity to scan thru my bank statement and while doing so, came by a master plan which sought to obtain maximum credit card / frequent flier miles with minimum spending.
My calculations gathered that based on this newly hatched scheme I had running in my mind, it would cost no more than US$320 for a FIRST CLASS return ticket from Asia - USA and in all that excitement, focused the next 3 days figuring out the legal issues and loopholes that my master plan depended on.
After deciding that there was indeed no legal issue I could figure out, but not wanting to run the risk of being afoul of the law (after all, what would the whale know), I sought the advice of my Criminal Law professor - a certain administrative judge, and a visiting prosecutor who specialized in nothing but White Collar - Financial Crime.
Presenting to both individually my master plan, It is with deepest pride to announce that both specialists could not figure any criminal element within the master plan and that my Crim. Law professor considered it a Brilliant Plan.
Needless to say, I aced the course and had been exempted from Finals...
In case you're pondering, no, I did not pursue with the plan out of consideration that I have a far brighter academic and professional prospect and shall not hold these hostage for the sake of cheap air-fares...sorry.
P.S: In case you're wondering, or trying to figure the drawings out, the plan utilizes the establishing of 2 different bank accounts in respectively different banks, the use of a credit card thru a 4-5 step financial transaction process and requires the moving of funds from one account to another, constantly. The ultimate aim of the project would be to obtain a Free First Class Ticket on any airline for a trans-atlantic route at the mere cost of US$320. The investor need possess no more than US$18 000 at any one point if he desires a free ticket every 3 weeks

The Wonders of the Free World

It simply is amazing what deals you can get in America thats simply
not available back in Singapore!
Returning back to the USA, I have resisted the temptations to download
music off P2P programs given the active work and advocacy by certain music

organizations.
Thankfully, I found sites that make purchasing the music I want all that
more worthy.

With special thanks to BMG, I got SIX CDs at a the LOW LOW price
of USD$18.73 for 6 CDs, all shrink wrapped. How kewl is that?

I am reading somewhere that some people are falling in love with Disney's Little Mermaid. I'd render the guess that it must be simply cause everyone loves whales! =)
Why am I so not surprised? Ha.

Single Whale's Diet
Bet many of you would be wondering what a single Whale who chefs for himself would have on a regular basis right?
Wonder No more! But before we go into that, I wanna say that... CHINESE NEW YEAR HAS FINALLY COME FOR ME!! Yups!
An angel has sent to me MANY MANY STUFF!! Including Eu Yen Seng Herbal packets!! Oooo. I'm so happy! Its been my lucky week. Grins. To my santa- THANKS A MIL!
Not knowing if you can expend the pic of my fridge, this would be the general state you will see it early - mid week. As I do my shopping every weekend, it might be pretty much clear sometime
Friday.
As with any week, you'd find Chicken (skinless) and Salmon in the fridge. Every alternate week, I select between Wild and Fresh Farmed salmon for health and cost reasons. Personally, I prefer Farmed Salmon but the Iron aint too good for Whales. For this week, pre-seasoned items include: Lemon-dipped Salmon left chiled overnight, Oven Baked Ruth Ann's Muskego Marinated Chicken and Oven Baked Chicken with Pepper-Lemon Seasoning.

Oh- the pic that U see with the saussage, now, before U start screaming at my unhealthy diet, please know that they are made of TOFU. Totally organic. And seriously, they taste horrible. After forcing myself to eat half, I jsut couldn't go on any further. STAY AWAY FROM IT !
Of course, not forgetting the Eu Yen Seng Herbal Chicken Soup which I have ALREADY opened. Grins. So much chicken, rights?
But hey. Its skinless!
And here you see my old faithful - 5 to 7 cups of Long Jing Tea or Japanese Green Tea, alternating every other day.
Now of course, the all important question- What lies in the deep dark, cool air box? For the week of 12th March, the whale has: Fresh California grown Strawberries for fruits, pre-made vaccum sealed Mashed Potatoes, Half open Hard Tofu, 500gms of Honey Baked Ham and 500gms of Shaved Turkey for sandwhich making, Crimini Mushrooms, Thai Dried Mangos, Immitation Crab Sticks, Non-fat Chadder Chese Slices and Non-fat Cream Cheese. As a luxury, there are 3 boxes of Hershey's Dark Chocolates which I purchased one day after Val Day at 75% off.
So there- the current stock that is meant to feed whale. Given my expenses on Salmon and selecting Non/Low- Fat products, my Weekly Grocerries come out to a SHOCKING USD$70 per week. Not counting my once or twice weekly indulgence of don't know what.
PPss.. DO U SMELL THE AROMA OF THE HERBAL CHICKEN THAT IS IN THE SLOW COOKER? OOO...
To the nice person who sent me LOADS OF STUFF... THANKYOU !

Welcome to my World...
"And at 23, with so much [to] fear, all I ask for is of your continued blessings, grace and watching over. That as you have through all my life, provide for me, guide me, mold me. That not a day goes by that I not look up to the Heavens Above praying for that Big Break but yet knowing that success lies in my own doings...
Be with me as I spread my wings. Guide me, as I fly. Hold me, as I soar.... for my life and works are in your hands..."
For your many many blessings, Thank You
