Chef Me
With just so much to do, I find little time to continue the blog on a daily basis, as it is now obviously so... within a period of just 1-2 weeks, I have had : ONE test on the greek alphabat, FOUR-FIVE 1500-2500 word reports completed...
And so, will only simply update my blog on a weekly basis - but not that anyone much is reading anyhow. hehee
Oh ! Je suis presente Assistant Chef Whale ! Yups. Had signed up to assist in the kitchen... and because the Chefs and staff all LOVE me, and given the fact that I LOVE to cook and am a fast learner at that, my duties now are:
Arrange the pastries out in a decorative manner for breakfast-lunch-dinner
Hand crust pizza crust
Royal food taster
Burger Flipper
Grilled Cheese Griller
Omelet maker
Fries & Nuggets deep fryer

And e list simply grows
Oh ! I'm e only student allowed to cut up food

ITS SO FUN !
Of cos, I'm learning how to cook soups and bases from scratch. No more pre-mixed powder. Ha. Learning diffeent ways to go about cooknig stuff. And hired bascially to do student-chores such as admitting people for food, clearing up dishes, washing...which I never once did... at the starting rate of SGD$12/hr, I expect a rise soon!!!
Man.. working in the kitchen is SO SO SO sinful especially when you work directly with good ! A pintch here, a grab there.. man. And since I dish out all the main foods ... guess whos eating and eating?
