Dearest Santa... 
It has been several days since I last posted and while I had planned on putting up other posts, coming accross the story of Larry Stewart was one I could not ignore.
To one of God's angels and Secret Santa.
Stewert had over the last 26 years given out more than USD$1.3 Million to strangers on the streets.
His private holiday giving started in December 1979 when he was at a drive-in restaurant nursing his wounds from having been fired. It was the second year in a row he had been fired the week before Christmas."It was cold and this carhop didn't have on a very big jacket, and I thought to myself, `I think I got it bad. She's out there in this cold making nickels and dimes,'" he said. He gave her $20 and told her to keep the change.
While it might be that he died, with the blessings of God above, a millionaire and could well afford the act of kindness, it was the moment when he was down and yet, able to see someone who could use more help than he... that I admire, respect and am moved about.
