Don't Play Play
After a greatly interesting, truly fun and much educational experience at the Kitchen, I had applied for the position of a Student Safety Officer with the University's Public Safety Department
Tasked with protecting Residence Halls between 12mn and 7am, The SSO provides and maintains security by checking the ID of students and visitors, conducting regular petrols and security checks and responding to emergencies
While some of you may wonder why I would wish for the switch? Well, beyond certain busy periods- taking over, handling over, duties and so forth- I get to study! Yups. Paid to study. Thats the main drawing point
And the pay is USD$10 / SGD$15.40 an hour, but I've forgone my free meals. So doesnt work out to much
How cool is that?
Got my uniform and I'm ready to kick some ass.
Ha. Kidding. Eveyone knows Whales are harmless
Of course, the Kitchen loves the Whale and is still opening up spots for me as and when I can return to whip up stuff.
